  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Celery Salt
  • 1 tbsp White Pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 1/2 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder
  • 2 tsp Sweet Paprika
  • 1 tsp Ginger Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

Potatoes:

  • 1 kg (2 lb) Russet Potatoes
  • Pinch of Salt

Gravy:

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sweet Paprika
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Chicken Stock
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) Beef Stock
  • 1 Beef Bouillon Cube (for color and flavor)
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 cup (180 ml) Warm Milk

For Frying:

2 cups (500 ml) Avocado Oil (or Vegetable Oil, Canola, or Peanut Oil)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Buttermilk Marinade:
  • In a bowl, whisk together 1 egg, 1 1/2 cups buttermilk, and 1 tsp salt.
  • Place 10 chicken legs (or wings, breasts, thighs – whatever you prefer) into the marinade.

  • Stir in 3 tbsp butter and 1/2 cup warm milk to make a rich, smooth gravy.
